Googling (is that a word?)

November 14th, 2009

I am a numbers person…a steps person…a logic person.  I like to analyze things. Yes, I am a nerd.

As such, I like to see how many people a day come to my website or my etsy store.  There’s also a fun little option of seeing what keywords people are using to search for and eventually get to the site.

The other day, I saw this and nearly died:

Googles

Maybe “nearly died” isn’t the best phrase here.

People were apparently  really worried about that Project Runway preview!  It’s rather sweet really.

So there you go.  Thanks for the concern!

Happily Yours,

CH

How did you get such specific search keywords like that, that is awesome!

I think there’s lots of us that are still worried (since the finale is yet to air)…

I like that you’re analytical and a smart designer. Keep it up.

I feel bad for not searching for that now.

    Hey, CH!

(I wandered over here from Project Rungay to TLo’s twitter to your twitter to your blog…)

Just wanted to wish you all the best in everything. Love you on the show. You’re “good people.”

    So, kiddo — good luck@

Well, this mother hen who is heading up the Southwest entourage was totally worried as last week’s show ended with you looking like you were having a relapse…eeekkkk…Clearly you made it through, but the ‘mother’ in me was a tad worried…and counting the minutes until this weeks’ show.

    Hugs from AZ

It so funny how they can make those previews so dramatic! looking forward to the finale!

Just saw PR finale. So thought you were robbed. I love your clothes. Plus your genteel manner. Girl, bless their hearts. What were they thinking with Xena, Warrior Subway Rider?

Anyway, we’re formerly from Anderson, SC as well. Glad to know that you’re from good roots. Keep on designing. What an amazing talent. And thanks for letting women look like women in dresses. Instead of like sword bearers.

I just want you to know that your collection was beautiful (not that you need some random person telling you that). Of the three, yours was the most inventive. Althea and Irina, although both talented, presented things that I’ve seen relatively recently. Then again, your ethereal romantic look appeals to the inner “fairy” in me, so I am not impartial! Congrats again on making into the top three and doing SC proud.

OMG! Carol Hannah I’m so sad you didn’t get project runway. I thought your collection was the absolute best!! I loves the first dress and the 13th look. Totally amazing. I want you to design me something!! :D

Googling was actually added to the dictionary!

Carol Hannah… I am surprised you have the time to be selling on etsy! I can’t believe you didn’t win!
Or that your not going to be doing future shows in New York!
    Your design was fabulous!!

I’ll be watching… I’d buy something on etsy, but being as I am a size 18, I think I am out of luck! :)

It’s nice to know that nerds can be artistic as well, and do big things. Thanks for being such an inspiration! Maybe someday I’ll wear one of your gowns on the red carpet. :)

I just saw the 2 finale eps and count me in as one of the people who was worried/sad for you! To be so close to something so huge and to be sick for it – ugh! I didn’t attempt to google whether or not you were dying though – ha!

Also, your collection was so gorgeous that even my husband oohed your gold dress!
