I always love seeing what other creative people will do with my work. Everyone has their own perspective, their own point of view, and their own references, and I enjoy being able to see my own designs in a new light when collaborating with stylists and photographers.
This editorial series with the Wentworth Street gown was a feature for Style Me Pretty based on Surrealism, specifically the art of Salvador Dali.
Enjoy!

Exciting news friends!
I’m so happy to welcome two new stores on board!
Bliss Bride – Del Mar, California
I was fortunate to do a trunk show with Bliss Bride earlier this year, and I love everything about this store. Owners Anne and Jennifer know exactly what brides need, and they provide just that in a warm, friendly, and comfortable environment.
Ivory Lane – Limerick, Ireland
Hello international! We are feeling fancy! I’m so glad that I’m able to spread my love of dresses across the world! (good heavens that sounds cheesy to say out loud…but it’s true!) Owner Ailish passionately helps her brides find the best of the best bridesmaids from all over! It’s an honor to be included.
Happily Yours,
Carol Hannah

It’s always a good time at our trunk shows with Lovely Bride, and this past weekend was no exception.
Enjoy a few shots I snagged in spare moments- Every time I leave this store, I go home and try to make my house as cozy as the shop! I’m not sure if it is possible.

Thank you Lovely for being such a gracious host!
See you again soon!
Happily Yours,
Carol Hannah

Wow, friends! I have so much to share with you!
It has been quite the whirlwind of a month for us between bridal market, my Spring/Summer 2012 Runway show, and a really incredible custom wedding project, of which I cannot wait to share photos (though I have to wait…since they’re being featured in Martha Stewart Weddings in a couple months!).
I have so many great things to show you from the runway, so I’ll be doing a few different posts so as to do each topic justice. Hence, we begin with….hair and makeup!

One million thanks to:
Nicole Wooten for her braiding magic and hair team leadership.
DD Nickel and team for the incredible makeup.
Cheryl King Couture for collaborating on the amazing hand gilded, golden feather headpieces.
Each member of these teams is truly an artist, and I am so grateful for their help in interpreting and executing my vision of The Golden Hour. Be sure to check them out if you are in need of great wedding day vendors!
More to come!
Happily Yours,
Carol Hannah

Are you a bride-to-be in New York City?
Exciting news!
For the first time, I’ve decided to open my runway show (this Saturday!) to a limited number of lucky girls who RSVP to press@carol-hannah.com. This is a great chance to see firsthand what happens during bridal fashion week and to view the new styles as they debut on the runway in New York!
To secure your seat, please send your name and wedding date to press@carol-hannah.com to RSVP! And hurry!
*You must be a bride to attend, but you may bring a guest*
Happily yours,
Carol Hannah
I had so much fun down in Charleston this past weekend for Charleston Fashion Week. Maddison Row and Bella Bridesmaid did a joint show this year, featuring a beautiful palette of greys, silvers, black, and of course whites!
The Mad Men theme was rounded out with gorgeous custom headpieces and red lips, while the girls rocked the runway to the music of the Black Keys. I had the pleasure of creating a custom piece for the finale gown! It was a great chance to go a little overboard- it’s a show, right?!!

The show was also great motivation as I am about a week and a half out from debuting my new collection at bridal market here in NYC. It was wonderful to see all of Lindsey and Allison’s (from Maddison Row and Bella Bridesmaid) hard work pay off. I’ll have tons to share on the new line shortly, but for now back to sewing!!
Happily Yours,
Carol Hannah
